Freddie's Birthday

Yey! It’s time to go to Freddie’s house for his birthday when we arrived at Freddie’s house the first thing that we did was there was a bag and there were three teams a blue team, a red team and a green team. Freddie went first and he got green then it was Lachie’s turn and he got blue. It was Mickey’s turn and he got red finally my turn and I got green then it was the Hudson’s turn and he got blue and he was with Lachie. It was the last person's turn William’s and he got red so he was with Mickey but there was one more person to come and Freddie said he was in our team.

Finally the first activity was with a nerf gun you have to shot the plastic bugs off the plastic cups and then were 11 plastic bugs and they were on plastic cups all stacked up in a permanent shaped, I got 10/11 so I got 10 points and after all of the three teams had done my team go 30 points and can’t remember what the other teams got.

When the next activity is food tasting and on my first one I had honey mustard and it was disgusting and after we tasted we got a pen a paper and you had to write what you think it is and you were blindfolded, I guessed honey mustard and I got it correct and one person in my team guessed baked beans but that was not right on my second tasting I thought I got yogurt but it was not it was some kind of cheese and I can’t remember what all of the groups got.

Then it was time to do activity three and what it was is when you have dog biscuits and you have to put the dog biscuits on the ground and you start standing up and when freddie’s mum said go you get down like you about to do a pushup but you pick up the dog biscuit and run down the drive and drop it in the bucket and run back and then the next person would go and do the same as the first person would and my team got 4 and the other teams got 5 all and then they had to go again.

Then it was time to do activity fourth and it was with spaghetti and in our group Freddie went first and then it was the other boy in my group and it was disgusting because he was spitting the spaghetti out and his spit was going in the bowl so I didn’t do that challenge so Freddie went again but Freddie’s mum said I had to go first for the next challenge.

The fifth challenge was with flour and after my turn my face was covered in flour and that was fun then Freddie went and when the time was up his face was covered too finally the last person had gone and we grabbed some flour and throw it at each other and that was fun as well.

The sixth challenge was when you had to use your feet and there was a tub of water and there are plastic bugs, peas and fake eyeballs you have to pick them up with your feet and it was hard but fun as well and I can’t remember what we got.

After Freddie’s mum added up all the soces up and my group got 290 points, the red team had 270 and the blue team had 280 and then my team got medals and then we had cake and then it was time to go home and that was a fun birthday of Freddie’s and then we all went home. The End

SLEEP OVER

Day 1
I woke up in the morning feeling happy because my best friend was coming over for the night. We went to an ANZAC service and had some morning tea there at the service, then went home and waited for Luke to come. When Luke arrived at my house we, sat down for little bit and then went on the motorbike and did the gobike it's when you tow a gokart behind the motorbike and drive round. After we got a bit bored we went back to the house.

We made some cookies but not just any cookies GIANT COOKIES! And they were about the size of an dinner plate. When you make the batter of the cookies you add 1 teaspoon of baking powder and then split the batter in half then flatten the batter down like a giant cookie and put the giant cookie in the oven for 22 minutes and let it rise.

When it start to get dark we sat inside and watched tv then we went to bed.


Day 2

In the morning Luke and I jumped out of bed and got our clothes on and had breakfast really fast. Luckily we stopped my dad in the tractor and we went down the back of the farm and feed out a bale to the Bulls. Then my dad went to work for the day. Luke and I went on the motorbike for a bit then ate lunch and then at 1:00pm Luke went home and I sat down and watched tv for the rest of the day until my dad came home at 7:00pm because he was at the pub and we talked for a bit.

Green Pastures camp

I am here at the Green Pastures camp MUD RUN! As soon as the teacher says my name I sprint off to the entry for the mud run. I got over the fence and slowly walked down the hill so I wouldn't slip. Mrs Dennison told us to wait because it was slippery but she let me go in the huge puddle. Up ahead I saw Ash and Te Ahu, they stopped for me to catch up with them. Then Te Ahu and I overtook Ash. James (Fran's Dad) put mud through everyone's hair! There was another big puddle - I got out of it and then there were another two huge puddles to go. When I got to the second to last puddle we all had to wait in a line and it took forever! Finally I got in it. It felt like an hour but it was only 15 minutes. Mr R and Duncan (my dad) were stuck too! Finally I got out. I had a bit more mud to go through and then I had finally done one round. I did four rounds overall, and that was the end of the mud run.

 

Back to school yay

It was Rhys’s first day back at school. He had to face 5 teachers and 90 students. The teachers blew up the classroom with excitement! He was nervous. The first thing that he had to do was grab at tote tray and get a sticker and write his name on it and put  his school stuff in the tote tray. Then their was a activities to do, like lego challenge and google form. When the bell rang we watched a video about the teachers and in parts it was funny. In the first block we went to a powhiri. We came back for morning tea. We did a scavenger hunt to learn about people in the class. Then we did grand designs for our space. It lunch time. Then came back to grand designs for the afternoon. Then the bell rang then everyone went home Now he feels like he will have an awesome year!
